Dear Brethren,

Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our thanks to you all for your continued love, prayers and financial supports which are a blessing us to give the love of Christ and build our Lord’s gospel work among the poorest of rural India.

Malaysia Ministry:

Beloved, by the grace of God and your prayers, we had a wonderful gospel and church ministry in Malaysia. Rev. Nathan in Ipoh city invited us to come to Malaysia and to minister God’s word in            5 churches. Praise God.

According to our prayers and schedule, we flew from Chennai for Kuala Lumpur on 12 July, 2007 and reached during the early hours of 13 July. Pr. Rajkumar received us at the airport and took us into the city. We are thankful to Pr. Rajkumar for all his assistance to us on our Arrival. Then he sent us to Rev. Nathan in Ipoh city which is 3 hours journey from Kuala Lumpur.

Rev. Nathan received us in Ipoh and took us to his home. He and his wife was so good, a dedicated family of God, given us such a wonderful love and fellowship and church ministry for three days. Praise God.

Likewise we were blessed to be with Pr. Paul and family, Pr. James and family, Pr. Sesuraj and family and with Pr. David and family and their churches in Sepang, Klang, Port Klang, Ambang around Kuala Lumpur city. We are thankful to our Lord for His mercies and to all the pastors, their families and their church believers for their love, prayers, hospitalities and their love offerings for VOZ mission. Prior to our trip to Malaysia, the Lord our God spoke to Rev. Nathan to visit and help Pr. Arul and Voice of Zion Ministries in North India. So Rev. Nathan shared his burden to his mission team, and organized a few mission meetings to discuss in Pr. Paul’s church in Sepang City. Praise God. God willing, Rev Nathan and 6 pastors in the gospel team will come to Chennai - India for the out reach mission work in Northern India. Halleluiah! Pr. Paul and Shoba Paul and their son Amos given us such a Godly love and fellowship, kept us in their lovely home for  longer days of our stay, treated us as their own parent in Malaysia and took us around many visiting places in Kuala Lumpur. Praise God.

New Zealand Ministry:

We started for New Zealand on 26 July and after a long journey, we landed in Auckland. Our son Jaya received us in the Airport. Praise God. We stayed with our son for two weeks. Our heartfelt thanks to Elim Tamil Church and Pr. Vicky and family for allowing us to share the word of God in this church and their weekly prayer fellowships. God spoke to the church for the unreached people of North India. Pr. Viky and church came to pray and uphold our mission ministry in North India.  Praise God.  We thank Pr. Viky and family and all beloved brethren in church for their love, fellowships, love offerings and loving hospitality they shared to us.

Also we are thankful to Bro. Rufus and family and Pr. Das and family of Emmanuel Community Baptist church in Mangere –Auckland for given us an opportunity to share the word of God in their worship service. Lord our God spoke to His people to the church. Pr. Das and many brothers came forward to pray and uphold our North India ministry in the forthcoming days. We thank Pr. Das and beloved brethren for their love and mission offerings for North India mission works.

It was the day of Pr. Das’s daughter Jerusha’s 7th birthday. So we were blessed to join in the birthday celebration to bless Jerusha. Praise God.

Lord has touched the hearts of the beloved Pastors and brethren in Malaysia and New Zealand. We hope that our Lord will stretch his hand from these brethren in the near future to build VOZ ministry in India.

Thanks to you all for your continued love and prayers. Beloved, it’s the time of revival; time for us to cultivate and seed more and more! Rise up for the Lord and serve Him in which ever way He leads. Be prepared to meet Him with you and your family of Christ! Before that, pray and do something for the unreached and unsaved ones among the rural Indian people. One billion people are dying in India without Christ. You and I are accountable for these lost souls. Lord our God will ask you, “My son and my daughter, I given you my life and so much blessings to you until now! What you done for me?” Prepare to meet Him in these last days. God bless you.

Prayer points for VOZ Magazine: July–Aug-07

Pr. Joshua – Thirupanandal, TAMIL NADU

• Pray for Pr. Joshua and his wife was riding on a bicycle, going for the village outreach ministry in Thirupanandal township area was hit and injured badly by an Express bus on the main road, is under hospital treatment. Hold them in your prayers for the quick healing and recovery.

• Pray for the safety of Pr. Joshua and family from the poisonous snakes living around their new prayer house and for the quick electrical service connection they need for the night time prayer and worship services.

• Pray for a place we need to build a church/prayer house in Kadamkudi village near Thirupanandal Township to bring many unreached and unsaved souls to Christ.

Pr. Gnanamuthu –Pollachi, TAMIL NADU

• Pray for the new out reach ministry  started in Min Nagar, Unjavelampatty, colony area in Thippampatty to win more new souls among the unsaved people.

• Pray for the ministry we do among the fox-catching tribal people to bring them to Christ and His salvation.

• Pray for Sis. Shanthi and her husband in Unjavelampatty and Bro. Mayil Swamy and Sis. Rangammal from Thippampatty to come to our Lord’s salvation.

• Pray for a spacious house we need for a prayer house in Thippampatty village –Pollachi Taluk.

Pr. Thanuram Sahu – Gopalpuri, CHATTISGARH 

• Pray for the safety and protection to Pr. Thanuram Sahu and family living and ministering around Gopalpuri village areas under threat from Hindu fundamentalists and extremist politicians.

• Pray for the path to our Gopalpuri church, this has been closed by the neighbor under the influence of Hindu fundamentalists. Pr. Thanuram Sahu and his church believers have complained to the collector to intervene.

• Pray for a 2nd hand motorbike for Pr. Thanuram Sahu and family for the outreach village ministry in Gopalpuri.

• Pray for Bro. Rani Bayee in Kasi Puri village doing children ministry. But the Village Panchayat and leaders have complained to Police to stop him. Kindly pray for this ministry to proceed.

• Pray for Bro. Dhal Singh in Nayapal village, an extremist against Christianity was touched by our Lord and now he has committed his life to Christ, willing to go for Bible College to serve the lord in his future.

• Praise God for Bro. Thatturam Devangan in Bijinapuri village, aged 40, was a TB patient for 5 years, under medical treatment and taking heavy medicines every day. But in July ‘07, our Pr. Thanuram Sahu laid hands on him and prayed for God’s healing. Praise God, Bro. Thatturam received healing from our Lord and now he is completely healed. He is not taking medicines any more.

 

Pr. Barun Hepal – Alapaka, ORISSA

• Pray for Bro. Kishore’s father standing against 3 Hindu family coming to Christ in Kusumunda village

• Pray for the village ministry in Tlendihi, kharal Chappal, Kodomal and the ministry in Sundergarh to grow and bring more new souls to our Lord and His salvation.

• Pray for the 5 Christian families in Kharal Chappal village, facing heavy threats from Hindu fundamentalists who are refusing drinking water from the common pond. Kindly hold these 5 families to stand bold in their Christian faith.

• Pray for these youth Hindu brothers. Bhubban Tandi, Gajendra Oram, Mahendra Ora, Narayan Kamar, Goutam Tandi, Jogeswar, Dibayalochan , Kalindra oram, Kamal and Bhanta  are hearing the word of God. Pray that the Holy Spirit will touch these youths for Christ.

Pr. Hijikal Nag – Ulnar, CHATTISGARH

• Pray for the healing of Bro. Bhal Mathy in Ulnar village from TB. He has been suffering and taking treatment for 3 years. 

• Pray for Bro. Raju a diabetic Hindu brother aged 30 coming to church with a faith for the healing and deliverance by our Lord Jesus Christ. Uphold him for his healing and to receive our Lord’s salvation.

• Pray for the funds we need to buy the PA / sound system for the church ministry and for the worship services.

• Pray for the funds we need to repair the damaged roof and to extend the church building for another 30 foot long due to accommodate the new members in church.

Pr. Bharat Nukode – Chandrapur, MAHARASHTRA

• Pray for the healing of Bro. Chandker in Wani township, is suffering from heavy fever. Pray that he will come with his family to accept our Lord’s salvation.

• Pray for the church ministry among the youth to bring many souls to Christ.

• Pray for the funds that Pr. Bharat and family need to build a spacious church in his mission field in Chandrapur District.

Pr. Ashish Kumar – Satna, MADHYA PRADESH

• Pray for the youth brothers. Salim Khan a Muslim, Vikram Singh, Amit Sharma and Chattu Singh participated in our youth ministry, willing to commit their lives for Christ. Pray for their salvation and committed life in Christ.

• Pray for Bro. Jasper Masih is our Satna VOZ church believer, his wife died in the last month which lost his peace. Please uphold this brother in your prayers for the peace he will receive in Christ.

• Pray for the healing of Sis. Lakshmi Chawdheri, met an accident and having more pain in her back bone.

• Pray for the youth ministry taking place among the youths in Satna Township to grow more and bring more committed youths for Christ.

Pr. Isaac Bagh – Raidang, ASSAM 

• Pray for the funds we need to buy a small place of 5 cents and to build a church for the worship service in Raidang. Our present worship service is taking lace in a believer’s house which is not convenient to accommodate all the church members.

Pr. Upendra Nanda – Limbuguri, ASSAM 

• Bro. Shobha our Limbuguri church believer suffering from throat trouble and pain. Pray for his healing.

 

 

• Bro. Shivshankar a regular member in our church, had bad illness, undergone an operation on July 21, 07. Pray for his quick recovery and healing.

• Pray for Sis. Rejina our Limbuguri church believer, her husband died in the last month, leaving 4 small children. Uphold her in your prayers for her peace and shelter she needs.

• Praise God for the 11 souls submitted their lives to our Lord with repentance and took water baptism for the heavenly blessing in Limbuguri church during 2nd week of August ‘07.

Pr. Laxman Dhamar – GUJARAT

• Pray for the deliverance of Sis. Bhila Bhen from demon possession.

• Pray for the healing of Bro. Velu a TB patient suffering for a long time and for him to receive our Lord’s salvation.

• Pray for the deliverance to Bro. Shanthi Lal who is not sleeping many nights.

• Pray for Bro. Yadula Khatar having zeal to serve our Lord, pray that our Lord will confirm his zeal in Christ and make use of him.

• Pray for Bro. Shalu suffering in bodily weakness for the last 10 years, need healing and deliverance from our lord Jesus.

• Pray for Pr. Val Singh and family for their protection from the Hindu extremists raising troubles around his ministerial area.

• Pray for the gospel to reach to the unreached people living in the tribal and hilly areas to hear the gospel and accept our Lord’s salvation.

Bro. Ram Shankar – Laddupur, Sitapur District, Uttar Pradesh

• Pray for Sis. Munni aged 36 in Limbuguri is having brain fever trouble and the doctors advising for an operation. But she is very poor and cannot afford the operation. Uphold this sister for our Lord’s healing.

 

 

• Pray for the funds we need to build a spacious church / prayer house in Shoriya village to accommodate more new people and to make a common gospel center for 12 villages around this village.

• Pray for Bro. Ram Shankar who is a layman evangelist, meeting 12 villages in all these 3 years. We have sent him for Bible training college and now he is back from training. Let our Lord anoint him and make use of Him for the reach out of Gospel in Sitapur district villages and tribal areas.

Pr. Mahesh/Pr. Nari Ram Luhar – NEPAL 

• Praise God for Bro. Parvesh of Champapur village was suffering from a terrible unidentifiable sickness. The doctors were unable to diagnose him and his family had given up hope. He was about to die. But when our Pr. Mahesh heard about Bro. Parvesh, he went and prayed for him. Jesus our Lord healed him. Pray for this brother and family to come to our lord’s salvation.

• Three girl children of Baskheda go by walk to a high school which is very far away. They used to fail in all subjects in their exams. But VOZ missionaries went and met the families and prayed for the children. God heard our prayers and they all passed their last exams. God enabled us to lead them to our church and prayer fellowships. 

• Pray for Sis. Nima’s husband in Baskheda village who has backslidden so that God will touch him and bring him back to Christ.

• The people of Karbaddi village are all idol worshipers. In August 2007, the Lord burdened our hearts to go to this village which is a little far from our place. We spoke to them about the love and salvation of Christ. Lord opened the hearts of two families; they are now interested to know about Jesus Christ. 

• Pray for the salvation of Karbaddi village; that God will open their hearts to the word and for VOZ to open a house church/prayer fellowship here.

• Pray for Gawaji village so that God will open doors for ministry. Hundreds of souls in these villages are Hindus. 

• Praise God for Jhalari village. The lord has given us 6 souls who opened their hearts and lives to the Gospel and are ready to take baptism.

• Pray for Bro. Nand Ram assisting Pr. Mahesh in village ministry, traveling day and night to meet souls for God’s kingdom. Please pray for God’s protection on this brother.

• Pray for Jimuwa village, where people with anti-christian sentiments are opposing and disrupting the three house prayer meetings here. There is no other outreach activity in this village or nearby. Please pray that God will create safe passage for VOZ missionaries to conduct prayer fellowship here.

• Pray for Mataina village. Whenever we go to pray here, there are people opposing the Gospel work.       Please pray that God will touch these people and make a way for us to reach this village for Christ.

Bro. Nari Ram Luhar – UTTARANCHAL 

• Praise God! VOZ church member from Phagpur village Indian Army soldier Jagdish applied for a promotion and he is now a  Subedar. 

• Pray for this Bro. Jagdish’s family in Phagpur village that they will give place to Jesus in their hearts, leaving all worldly things, and live as witnesses to the Lord.

• Pray for Bro. Saurav and family also in Phagpur, a weak and lazy one in church and prayer fellowships. Pray for this brother and his family’s salvation.

• Pray for Bro. Hosiyar and family of Phagpur are growing in faith and in God’s word. Pray for this family’s salvation. He had problem in getting school admission for his chidren. We all as VOZ church Tanakpur fasted and prayed for them. The children got admission in good school.

• Praise God for Sis. Bela of Tanakpur for the peace and unity that the Lord has given with her husband.  Earlier, her husband used to beat and abuse her such that she decided to kill herself. But after we counseled them and prayed with them, they repented and accepted Jesus in their lives. Now they both attend VOZ worship service regularly and God has given them love and joy at home.

• Praise God for Bro. Labi of Tanakpur. God spoke to this brother and helped him quit drinking. Earlier Bro. Labi used to drink and quarrel with his wife, a believer about her faith. He also wanted a divorce from her because of her faith in Christ. This brother is a diabetic also. Our VOZ pastor met him and witnessed what the Lord has done in Pr. Nari’s life and our church members’ life. Bro. Labi accepted Jesus and His peace in their lives and house. A few days later, both husband and wife came to church. Bro. Labi said he would not drink any more.

• Praise God for Bro. Shetty’s mother in Tanakpur, she was suffering from kidney problem and was bedridden for last two years. After we as a church went and prayed for her in her home. Our Lord healed her. Now the mother can speak and walk and do her own work at home. Praise God. Please pray for her whole family’s salvation and that they would stand boldly against their relations and society to accept and live for Christ.

• Please pray for Sis. Urmila of Tanakpur.  She is a strong, bold believer in Christ, a widow with three school-going children. She is suffering financially to educate her children, and for the sake of the Gospel. She was beaten by many Hindu leaders because of her witnessing prayers and house visits among Hindu families here. Please pray that God would strengthen her and provide for her and her children.

We had arrived from New Zealand to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia en route to India on 13 August 2007. The airline had given us one day transit and put us up in a city hotel. On 14 August 2007 at 2.30 pm, Pr. Arul and I took a taxi to do mall shopping in the City. While coming near the hotel exit gate, we noticed Bro. Dinesh Amos the son of Pr. Paul with 2 sisters had come to see us. So we asked the taxi driver to stop there to meet them.

As always when traveling, I had our passports, travel documents and money in my handbag. When I got down from taxi, I forgot to take the hand bag, thinking that we will continue our journey in the same taxi to the city. But pastor sent the taxi away not knowing this. The taxi left.

As soon as I realized what happened, I shouted “My handbag is in the taxi. Please stop the taxi!” But the taxi went away fast. 

Bro. Dinesh rushed to his car and followed the taxi. It had already entered the express motorway. But Bro Dinesh chased the taxi down. We all were praying for God to intervene in this situation because if we lost the hand bag, we would lose our passports and travel documents and all our money. We would be unable to continue our journey that evening. But within minutes Bro. Dinesh called us on the mobile phone and reported that he had managed to stop the taxi and retrieve the handbag safely. Halleluiah! Praise God!

Snippets from VOZ

Missionary marriage!

VOZ missionary in Orissa Pr. Barun Herpal got married recently. He is serving in Alapaka in Sambalpur district, reaching Dhamakpur, Dhalkijharam, Rapatjun, Telekani, Mangarkinda, Dandari, Karal Chappal, Lephripara, Baradima, Mangaspur, Girijatoli villages in Orissa. He is under threat from many Hindu frontline zealots and political leaders. Pray for his protection and boldness to stand and witness for Jesus in Orissa.

Hindu priest now serves Jesus

Pr. Gnanamuthu aged 32, now serving with VOZ in Zion Garden, Pollachi and surrounding villages was a Hindu priest in a previous life. He was born as Kalimuthu to a Hindu preacher in Chellappampalayam village in Udumalpet taluk, Coimbatore district, in Tamil Nadu. His father died in 1992 and Kalimuthu took to his father’s work. At this time, he loved all religious and believed all gods were equal and the same. In 1996, he read a New Testament and the word of God touched his heart.

Later in 2004 he was facing terrible family and financial problems. He was without help or peace in His life. At this time, a friend took him to a church in Devanurpudur. The songs and worship and the word of God touched his heart and gave Him peace and joy. He went to the church very regularly. The pastor advised him to go to Bible College. Now after two years in Bible College in Chennai, he has come as a full-time minister.

Beginning June 2007, he has joined VOZ and started ministering in villages in and around Pollachi mission field. Now he is serving in Kollupalayam, Chandrapuram, Thippampatti, Unjavelampatti, and in other colony areas.

Medical camp for VOZ orphans

We thank our Lord God for Bro. Senthil and Bro. Prem working for Citi Financial in Pollachi. We were praying for a medical check up for all our children. Bro. Senthil and Prem came forward and organized through “The Pollachi blood bank group” Bro. Nelson and team came on 26 August with Dr ………………. and his wife to give a free medical check up to all our 45 children and to all staffs. Praise God for his mercies done through these beloved ones.

Church ready for construction

By the grace of our Lord, Pr. George Stephan our VOZ missionary in Nabrangpur has requested us to construct a church for the tribal people living in Janaki Nagar in Koraput district Orissa.

Dear Pastors and Brethren,

Greetings to you all in Christ. We thank our Lord for you all for your Godly love, your prayers and the committed financial support by some you which encourages us to go forth for our Lord’s ministry even into the remote villages and tribal areas in our rural India.

North India gospel mission trip

Beloved brethren,

By God’s grace and your prayers, our Lord has given us safe journey and a blessed gospel and church revival ministry in the villages of VOZ mission field churches in Rajasthan, Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh and in our neighboring country of Nepal. Praise God. Beloved to our surprise, every state I stepped in, on the very first day, it used to be very rainy. But when we look upon our Lord and prayed Him to stop the rain for a week, until we minister and go to another state. Our Lord God graciously heard our prayers and stopped the rain, made the seasonal climate to suit to us in all states we went for gospel and church ministries. In every state, the villages over there are mostly 5 to 12 km distances and there the transport bus facilities are very little and so difficult. People are traveling in mini-auto rickshaws and bicycle rickshaws which are loaded 3 times more than its capacity. Buses are loaded in top of the roofs also.

Prayer fellowships and house churches

So according to our instruction, our Pastors have formed the prayer fellowships/house churches to pray and worship our Lord. Main churches are there in the villages where the Pastors live. By the grace of our Lord, in Rajasthan, there are 10 house churches formed in Banswara district, 16 house churches in Tanakpur district in Uttrakhand, 10 house churches in Nepal and 12 house churches in Uttar Pradesh. We thank the Lord for His grace to build His worship centres as I have seen it in the above said States in India and Nepal. The Lord brought me safe back to my home in Coimbatore on 26^th March. Our heart-felt thanks to you all for your daily prayers.

Brethren, our Lord has heard our prayers and blessed me to visit most of the villages in Rajasthan, Uttaranchal, Nepal and Uttar Pradesh according to my schedule.

Beloved, there used to be raining everyday people said to me in Rajasthan, Uttaranchal, Nepal and in Uttar Pradesh. Also we find the rain falls on our first day of our arrival. The same moment, we used to pray to stop the rain. Graciously, our Lord has stopped the rain and given us sunshine on the next days till we finish our 7 days mission trip in every state. It was a amazing experience to me. Because our gospel trips are all arranged to go on in the motor bikes and cycle rickshaws only. Lord is so good. He stopped the rains for us and made a clear way for us to visit all villages according to our schedules.

Beloved, in all these three weeks, we never returned back from any one of the village / field trips due to rain. Praise God.

Provisions from our Lord for mission field

1. Two baptism services took place in Rajasthan and Utter Pradesh mission field villages.

2. Pastors seminars taken places in Rajasthan, about 40 Pastors took part and about 10 Pastors in Uttaranchal.

3. Visited and ministered in 18 villages in Banswara district in Rajasthan, 20 villages in Tanakpur Dist in Uttarkhand and in Nepal. And 10 villages in Sitapur district / Uttar Pradesh.

4. Bought 2 new bicycles and 2 cameras, Hindi New Testaments and bibles, Hindi song books for the field gospel and church ministries in Rajasthan and in Uttar Pradesh.

5. Blessed to have fellowships with local pastors and to preach word of God in the Methodist main church in Tanakpur in Uttaranchal and the fellowship prayers with Pr. PC Massie of Assemblies Believers church and Pr. Bobby Kutty of AG church in Sitapur dist in Uttar Pradesh.

Harvest is plenty, workers are few

Beloved, the harvest is indeed plenty in Northern mission fields. But there is a severe shortage of workers. The Lord’s work needs workers. Prayer warriors are needed. Prayerful financial support by soul-burdened believers is needed. We need teachers of the word to equip and encourage rural churches.

I encourage you to join hands with us and help spread the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ to the poor and neglected villages of our great country. Jesus is coming soon. We must not tarry.

VOZ GENERAL PRAYER REQUESTS

1. Pray that doors will be opened all over India, especially in Chattisgarh and Orissa for the Gospel.

3. Pray for the anointing of Holy Ghost upon the missionaries, so that they can pray in the name of Jesus and deliver the sick and evil possessed people in the villages.

Pray for Sis. Ormila a good believer has lost her husband recently. Her husband left her with lot of loans and 3 children to feed also. Now she is suffering for the children education, house rent and loans to be repaid. Pray for her and our Lord to settle her life in peace.

Pray for land we need to buy and built a church for the Tanakpur believers to worship our Lord.

We prayed to God for Bro. Lalit lives in Bastiya, to get good job. Lord provided him a job in Hero Honda group with good salary.

Sis. Seema, a strong Hindu Durga believer, has accepted Jesus after our long prayers and counseling in Tanakpur.

Sis. Ormila was very sick, lying on her bed for a long time, but we prayed for her and she was delivered by our Lord.

ORISSA MISSION FIELD

Pray for the youth Bro. Rajendran Toppo, Lalita Tandi, Malati Turi and Bittala Turi of Uthabara & Tangorur villages are interested to commit and live Christ. But they are afraid to come to church and accept the Lord’s salvation due to the threatening from their village leaders and president of Hindu mission.

Pray for Bajan Jaja’s wife and Bro. Gandra Godhi’s salvation they fear to society people.

A wine shop owner who was a Hindu, and greedy of making money by selling non-standard “Vodka”. A few believers of VOZ church met him and counseled him about his bad earnings and sinful living. God Jesus touched and delivered him from all his sins. Now he became a born-again believer.

Sister Kamali wife of Bro. Firoj in Pablojan village, suffering from TB for a longtime. We fasted and prayed for her healing. Lord our God given her healing from TB.

MADHYA PRADESH

We met Bro. Govind Raclaw, a Hindu youths through personal evangelism; is willing to accept Jesus Christ as his personal savior. Uphold him in your prayers for him to become a disciple of Christ.

Final departure from Gulf.

Brethren, Our Great Lord has blessed us to work and earn from Bahrain, Oman and Abudhabi for the last 32 years. Praise God. Lord our God has given us many blessings and we given us and ours to Him for His glory. Finaly Mrs.Esther Arul and me to return to India to do the full time ministry on the middle of Dec-06. Praise God, beloved. We have approached some of our beloved brothers and families to come forward and volunteer their prayerful supports to VOZ mission. Lord had blessed our efforts raised some of our beloved brothers and families to join together and pray and support VOZ ministry serving our Lord in India. Bro. Charles Jayraj has offered his service for our Lord and to Co-ordinate for us in Bahrains. Praise God.

Dear Brethren, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your continuous love, prayers and support given during the year 2006. By the grace of our Lord and your prayers and financial supports, our Lord has still blessed us to continue to minister Him with 27 full time ministers with 3 staffs in the Orphanage are in Assam, Nepal, Utter Predesh, Maharastra, Madhya Predesh, Rajasthan, Chattisgar, Orissa Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Also the 41 orphan children are taken care in Pollachi / Coimbatore Dist Tamil Nadu and provided with good food, shelter, clothing, medical assistance, education, moral discipline, spiritual growth and are brought them up for the glory of our Lord through your concern for this destitute children.

Tamil Nadu Village Ministry

During 2^nd week of jan-07, My wife and me went to visit our Tamil Nadu Mission field in Thirupanandal 20 KM away from Kumbakonam./ Tanjore Dist. Our missionery. Pr.Joshuva and his family is ministering our Lord here. He reaches 14 villages with gospel 1&2. Praise God. Thirupanandal is a small town with all banking, schools, big temples and town panchayet facilities. But there is not even a Christian CSI or a Cathlic Church planted until VOZ church is planted here. Praise God. Lord has blessed VOZ to plant the first church in hired building. We were ministering with Pr.Joshuva in the township and in villages for 3 days. Lord has blessed him to guide and lead 3 very old mothers to repent and accept the Salvation of Christ. Praise God. As per Psalms 49:8, India’s redemption is very important to our Lord and for us too. We praise God with you for all His mighty doings in VOZ mission fields.

Beloved, God has been faithful in His vision given this humble faith based VOZ ministry for the past 13 years to bring those sheep which are not of this fold and feed them by His Word. About 30 Churches and 50 Pastors have been supported by His wonderful grace at present. We have bought and distributed 2500 malayalam bibles and 4000 Tamil & Hindi bibles during 2006.

Now, in this New Year beginning of 2007, we are praying for 3 Pastors who are new, serving the Lord by faith in Orissa and Rajasthan, Gujarat are seeking our guidance and financial support. Pray for us that our Lord will raise new sponsors for us to support this new ministry.

Also we are seeking the help from our Lord and you all for to buy two piece of land in Trivandrum/Kerala and in Thiupanandal in Tamil Nadu and to construct two spacious our own churches as the Churches growing fast, we find the church buildings are very small to accommodate the present strength. We are lifting our eyes to our all sufficient Father God for the help as per Psalm 121:1-2 to build two big churches 60” x 20”. Hold us in your prayers.

Bretheren, preaching gospel to unreached is our desire the vision of my Lord is burning in my heart. It cannot be put off until His coming. We need to reach the unreached souls because our Lord’s coming is delayed. We are praying to send more missionaries and plant 11 more churches in places, where no churches are build to worship our Lord. Kindly uphold us in your daily prayers that our Lord will do greater things through you and VOZ. God writhing, we are praying / planning to visit our mission fields in Rajasthan, Uttranchel, Nepal and Utterpradesh for 3 weeks in March 2007. Voice Of Zion Orphanage Home

Our heart felt thanks to all the brothers and sisters who given all their love, prayers and sponsorships, financial supports to the destitute orphan children for all these years.

We have 41 children in our Home and there are 3 supervisors appointed to look after them on their Education, Spiritual growth, discipline, healthcare, food, prayer life, Bible meditations leading prayer fellowships, leading worship services and all.

Sis. Margaret Malar B.Com graduate staff is looking after the administration, schooling, education, discipline, guardian/guest visits, healthcare, food provisions and market visits, devotions and worship services in Tamil.

Sis. Premi, B.th (from Manipur) is looking after prayer sections, morning and evening devotions, teaching of English to all students and to make them to speak fluent in spoken English. Also looking after the clean dressings at home and the school uniforms, maintaining of staff, children registers, etc.

Sis. Jayachitra Bible College trained staff is looking after the daily preparations of food and it’s quality, maintaining and cleaning of children’s study room, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, stores, firewood, water and electricity.

1. From the mission field…

RSS Hindu extremists attack our missionary

Beloved, the past two months have seen us healing people, driving out demons, praying over those who are afflicted by family problems and such everywhere. We had a time of fellowship with our missionaries came from Nepal Rajasthan, and kerala, heard during that time that an elder of the VOZ Church in Padlavadakia village in Rajasthan, Bro. Lakshman was beaten badly and left with broken ribs and head injuries by the R.S.S. Hindu extremists. I still remember our Rajasthan missionary sitting with his face in his hands stunned and grieved by the news.

First Church in Thirupanandal Township

I also think a lot about Thirupanandal, which we visited during our trip to the Kumbakonam mission field in Tamil Nadu. It is a township of about 80,000 people, 20 km from Kumbakonam, and on the Chennai – Kumbakonam National Highway. What is interesting about Thirupanandal is that it has 5 large Hindu temples, 4 small Hindu temples, and one big Mosque. But there is no church here so far.

Voice of Zion has been ministering in Thirupanandal for the past 8 months. But we have no church building. Our missionary Pr. Joshua and family have hired a small house and doing the worship service. But the house owner has asked him to vacate this rented building by March 2007.

In Thirupanandal, most of the lands and properties belong to the Hindu Devasam Board and the wealthy people of this township. Ordinary people and especially Christians cannot buy land on the main road or inside the township areas. We have enquired and tried to buy a piece of land. But we are told that is not possible. But we are burdened so much for the 14 village believers coming to worship our Lord in our VOZ church in this township.

By the grace of God, we have found a semi constructed building with a spacious hall, belonging to a Muslim family. When we approached them, the owner demanded Rs.100,000 that they need to complete the rest of the construction work. If agreed, then the owner would complete the construction and allow us to use the building for 3 years on a lease agreement basis. We requested them that we have only Rs. 75,000 for the lease now. We prayed and our Lord God helped us to reach an agreement on January 24th. We paid Rs. 50,000 as advance payment and the rest has to be paid on or before February 15.

Praise God, we are blessed to plant the first church in Thirupanandal township. God willing, we will dedicate and start worship service by April 2007.

Miracle done by our Lord

A boy of 3 years brain affected one from baby hood in Thirupanandal Mission was healed and delivered by our Lord by hearing his servant Pr. Johuva’s continued prayer. Now he is able to walk, speak and eat by himself. Praise God.

A sister of 25 years in kattanager was unconscious and bed ridden for several mouths due to possessing of evil spirit. Hindu poojas and prayers, medical treatments didn’t deliver her. When me and my wife (Pr.Arul & sister. Esther Arul) went for village ministry to kattanagar, this sister was brought to us in the prayer meetings when we laid hands on her and prayed in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior, Praise God, she was healed and delivered by our Lord Jesus. She woke up and she done her morning duties had her bath herself and started doing her own works. Praise God. When we had this good news from our Pastor. Joshuva from Thirupanandal, we too praise or Lord with Joy.

God has answered our prayers and blessed Sis. Revathi who had no child for a long time, became pregnant and delivered a girl baby after many years of marriage.

Pray for a proper own church building in Thirupanandal township, for which our 14 villagers to come and worship the Lord on every Sundays and the weekly fasting prayer, bible study and Sunday classes to take place with out building owners disturbances.

Pray for the people of Kattanagar village near Thirupanandal to be delivered from the suicidal spirit. So far move than 30 people have attended suicidal death in this Village.

Pray for the village people of Melaveli, Olugacheri, Guruvadi, Edaiyanur, Manikudi Manakunnam, Elanganur, Muttakudi, Bhalur, Melavadi, Kattanagaram for the reach out of Gospel and our Lord’s salvation.

Kethaiurumbu –Oddenchatram :

Pray for the gospel reach out to Thippampatti, Palayapatti, Kethaiurumbu, Aravakurichi, Oothur, Kuthilipai,Vadipatti,Nalroad,Puliyurnatham villages and to receive the salvation of our Lord.

Pray for 5 cents of land we need to buy and build a church in Palayapatti, Ottanchatram mission field where no church around for the 15 villagers, can come and worship our Lord and seek His salvation.

Trivandrum – Kerala mission field:

Praise God for the 200 youths attended in the VOZ youth’s one day seminar in Trivandrum city, accepted and committed their life to our Lord.

Pray for a proper church hall that we looking for to hire and do the worship service with out any disturbances by the building owners in Trivandrum City.

Pray for many Hindu youths / college students to come and join in our youth fellowship to taste and see that Lord Jesus is good in their life and to bless Pr. Sam Ratheesh to lead and bring many youths to our Lord’s salvation.

Pray for the college students staying in University hostel and attending VOZ youth fellowship / worship services are to dedicate more to submit their life for the living God.

Pray that our Lord will bless and anoint Pr.sam Ratheesh / voz youth mission to bring up many more dedicated youths for Christ from Karamana,Nanadvanam,Ulloor,Kannakuzhy,velayampalayam and All Saints hostel.

Orissa Mission field:

• Pray for the 100s of street children lying without parental care in our mission field village who needs a schooling and hostel facilities for their bright future.
• Pray for the gospel reach out to Kharal, Chappel, Nalapara, Mangargunda, Gaikenpali, Turipara, Rapatjor, Balisankara block, Lephripara, Tharmunda, and Loharapara village people in our Orissa mission field area for their salvation.

• Pray for Dharmakpur, a Hindu village in Orissa where no one knows or heard about Jesus in this village. Now after the long prayers, two families have come to the Lord. We need the whole village for Christ.

• Pray for our Pr. Barun Herpals message taking place in March07 and our love to bless his wedding.

Chattisgar Mission field:

• Praise God for the new born 9 souls in Gopalpuri village which our Pr. Thanuram Sahu is blessed to lead them to our Lord’s salvation, even with all the opposition of the hindu extremists and Panchayat Hindu leadership.

• Bro. Ram Uddhar Yadav in Demar Dhamatri village, Gopalpuri mission field has been suffering from back pain for the past 7 years and has spent much money in medical treatment. Please pray that the Lord will heal him and glorify his mighty name.

• Bro. Murli Sahu and his wife Sis. Manu Bai in Ankha village have no peace, because of the evil possession in their life. They came to church on 26 November to pray. Please pray that God will deliver them and give them peace and joy in their life.

MadhyaPradesh:

• Pray for our Pr.Asish Kumar’s wedding taking place during April 07 and our Lord to bless his wedding

• Praise God for the instant healing that our Lord done to Bro. Panna Lal in Satna mission field, he had long and severe pain in the kidney.

• Praise God for Sis. Shanti Bai, a Hindu believer decided to go for Sunday, VOZ Church worship in Jawahar Nagar, Satna mission field. But she got heavy fever which made her to lie down in her bed. Sis. Shanti called Jesus, and said: Jesus my Lord, I want to go to Church. Instantly Lord answered and healed her from sickness. She went and attended the church and witnessed.

• Pray for Pr. Ashish Kumar’s mother in Satna Mrs. Ruth Sharma, having weak heart for healing.

• Pray for Bro. Lakshman and family and three daughters. They have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior. But they need strong faith in Christ and to receive our Lord’s salvation without any fear to other people and Hindu leaders.

• Pray for Pr. Ashish Kumar serving our Lord in Satna township and the villages Mahadeva, Dhawari, Amarapattan block, BazaraTola, Birla colony, Railway colony, Rajendra Nagar to bring many souls for Christ

Maharashtra Mission Field:

• Pray for Pr. Bharath need a bicycle for the village ministry.

• Pray for Pr. Vasanth and Pr. Bharath serving our Lord in 22 villages in Yavatmal and Chadrapur Districts to bring many orthodox Hindu people to Christ.

• Chandrapur Dist -Maharashtra Mission Field.

Rajastan Mission field:

• Pr. Val Singh VOZ missionary, is now being forced to vacate his family house because of he is serving our Lord and bringing many Hindu souls to our Lord Jesus. His own 7 brothers who are Hindus are forcing him to vacate their family house. Now Pr. Val Singh and family very badly needs a house and a long spacious hall for 150 believers to sit and worship our Lord.

• Please pray for the repentance and salvation of Pr. Val Singh Khiluri’s own 7 brothers and 1 sister families very orthodox Hindus in Rajasthan mission field, who are always giving more trouble to for the Christian mission in the village Padlavadakia. Also pray for Bro. Mahesh Chandra, Rasul and their families to accept Jesus and His salvation.

• Sis. Mohan of Thapda village suffered from stomach burn for three months. She tried with all medicine and witch doctors made her to spend more money, but no healing. Finally she went to our church with faith in Jesus. After our prayers by VOZ pastor and the church, she was healed by our Lord Jesus and she witnessed in the church.

• Sis. Sowki of Hamirpura villlage in Rajasthan mission field fallen sick, could not speak or open her mouth for the past six months, she could put only one finger into her mouth. She is one of the first believers in our VOZ church. But after the Pastor’s prayer, our Lord delivered her and now she is now able to speak, recovering better now.

• Pray for the 15 villages: Padlavadakia, Kiljara, Bormathde, Sevaniya, Fashla, Magerdha, Kasla, Rathanpura, Chatri, Kotfala, Khariya, Sogpura, Leelbhani, Garadiya where Pr. Val Singh ministering to the unreached /unsaved villagers in Rajasthan to repent and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Uttar Pradesh Mission Field:

• Praise God for Bro. Umesh Kumar in Shoraiya village near Sitapur was an unbeliever and always given very hard time and troubles to our church believers, but after our repeated prayers, Lord our God has touched him and he repented and now became a believer of Christ.

• Bro. Sehgal and Bro. Gaya Prasad were Hindu worshipers in Laddupur village / UP mission field. We went on fast and prayed for them and given repeated counseling, sharing the word of God and prayed for them. Now our Lord touched them, both became believes Christ .Pray for their salvation.

• Praise God for Bro. Umesh was an unbeliever, in Sitapur, UP mission field who was hostile to the Gospel, but after prayer he has now accepted Christ as savior and is now baptized.

• Bro. Bhukhan Sahu of Telasi village used to be depressed and worried all the time, but after attending church, God has given him a great joy and peace in his heart.

• Neeraj is a little boy in Jainpur near Sitapur, UP mission field who is suffering from red fever. In his family, all are unsaved people. Please pray that the Lord will touch their lives by healing him.

• For a peace of land of 5 cents to build a prayer house in Sitapur, UP mission field.Pray that our Lord will provide funds and the resources to build a church.

• Sis. Anita a believer Christ in Sitapur, has backslidden, and now she is giving trouble threatening church believers. Please pray that she will repent and come back to the Lord.

• Ramkumar is an idol worshipper in Kumbharanpur / Sitapur, UP mission field who is very hostile to the church and the gospel. All of his brothers believe in the Lord. Please pray that the Lord will speak to his heart. Similarly pray for Bro. Dinesh as well that the lord will speak to his heart.

• Pray for Pr. Ram Shankar and Pr. Ram Lal ministering the 11 tribal people living in Kumharanpur, Shoriya, Jainpur, Paragppur, Laddupur, Cholajainpur, Amrapur, Shivpuri, Mulambur, Bovapur and Tappar Hosrya to accept Jesus as their living God and savior.

Assam Mission Field:

• Praise God for His touch on a wealthy Hindu businessman Bro. Jagadas Agarwala in Tinsukia Assam mission field after our repeated prayers. Now He believes Christ and reading the Bible.

• Pray for two church building needs in Raidang and Limbuguri belivers in Assam mission field. God’s grace, we have land, But we need funds to build the churches.

• Pray for the “ULFA” terrorist who attacks the Government officials and the local workers to lay down the weapons and leave the people to live in peace.

• Pray for the villagers in Deodham and Hanchara tea estates [people] are all Hindus, now listening God’s word after a prayers and long counseling in Assam mission field. Please pray for their salvation.

• Pray for Sis. Jalkumari. Her family is opposing her, not to take water baptism and become a Christian in Tinsukia, Assam mission field.

• Pray for the healing of Bro. Kumar’s wife and Bro. Govinda Dev Naik suffering from sickness for a longtime in Limbuguri church mission field Assam.

• Pray for Pr. Upendra Nanda and Pr. Isaac Bagh ministering in 18 villages /tea estates to be blessed and bring many Hindu, Buddhist souls to our Lord for His kingdom

Praise God for the souls we have won in mission fields:

· Praise God for the 9 unreached/unsaved souls in Gopalpuri of Chattisgarh has been lead to God’s word, and His salvation and to the Holy baptism on the first week of January 2007.

· Praise God for the 3 souls idol worshipers are lead to God’s word and to His salvation and Baptism in Thirupanandal mission field on the first week of January 2007.

· Praise God for the 2 youths committed to Lord according to His word and accepted His salvation and Holy Baptism on February 2007.

Prayer needs from HQ:

· Pray for a dedicated secretary we need for the VOZ head office in Coimbatore to handle the head office, mission field correspondences orphanage, and for all the official correspondence of the VOZ mission.

· Pray for a dedicated cook we looking for VOZ orphanage to stay at Pollachi mission field and cook good food for the children.

·

· Pray for Rs. 25000 we need to pay for the prayer house agreement in Thirupanandal in another two weeks time.

·

· Pray for the healing of Pr. Ashish Kumar’s mother (VOZ missionary in Madhya Pradesh) suffering from cancer disease.

For our mission fields needs

· Pray for the funds we need for 6 bicycles and 6 camera and 6 gas lights we need to buy and supply to: (1) Pr. Val Singh in Rajasthan, (2) Pr. Nari Ram Luhar in Uttaranchal, (3) Pr. Raj Luhar in Nepal, (4) Pr. Ram Shankar in Uttar Pradesh, (5) Pr. Bharath in Yawatmal District, Maharashtra Mission field, and (6) Pr. Samuel in Madurai District, Tamil Nadu for the village reach out ministry and the cameras to take photographs during baptism services, church conventions, and for the special occasions in church and the gas lights to use all late evening ministries like cottage prayer meetings, Bible studies, village visits and any special occasions in the mission fields.

Special prayer concern for Rajastan:

Bro. Lakshman, elder of our VOZ church in Padlavadakia village in Rajasthan was attacked, beaten badly and left with broken ribs and head injuries by the RSS and Vishwa Hindu Parishad Hindu extremists when he was on his way back from village prayer meeting on January 14, 2007. Please pray for his quick recovery and healing. Pray for the ones attacked him to confess and bow down to Jesus and His salvation.

In Rajasthan, many of the villages, Christian believers are suffering to get food provisions in the village markets and local shops. They are forced to deny their faith in Christ. The Christian believers’ children are ill treated in the government school, officials are refusing to allow them to take the drinking water. Please pray for the believers to be bold and strong in their faith to witness Jesus in every situation of their life. Also pray for the local school officials and the Hindu religious leaders to see their mistakes and to treat every one neighbor with Godly fear and love.

Pray for 12 VOZ Church constructions in our mission fields:

Pray for the funds we need to buy a piece of land and construct churches on the following of our mission fields. Presently our church believers are worshipping either in small churches / cottages / cowsheds or in open yards under the tree shades. Beloved, we do not build the churches with marbles and air conditionings. But we just build the churches very economically and reasonably to worship the Lord. Please stretch your hands for the constructions of Churches.

Pray for Bro. Lakshman and family, now living in Rajasthan is willing to go to Gujarat village ministry to proclaim Gospel to the unreached villagers in Gujarat. If God willing, then we will be dedicating this couple and send them to Gujarat during our visit to Rajasthan in the 2^nd week of March.
